Ghanaian musician and activist Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, has commended rapper Sarkodie for not accepting a baby from actress Yvonne Nelson.
A Plus posted on Facebook this morning, June 20, that he believes Sarkodie was right to doubt the paternity of the child, given how Yvonne’s mother lied to her about her own father’s identity in her new book, “I am not Yvonne Nelson”, which was launched on Sunday, June 18.
According to A Plus, Yvonne Nelson’s mother deceived her into thinking that her father was a bad person and celebrated her mother on Father’s Day. However, on his deathbed, the man revealed that he was not her biological father. Yvonne then had a DNA test and confirmed that her real father was Peter Adjetey, the former speaker of Parliament.
A Plus wrote, “But that one too the DNA machine was “faulty” so: the real was not realing.” What kind of story is this? And you expected Sarkodie, a young up-and-coming guy to accept a pregnancy from someone who was showing some of her mother’s characteristics?
Sark, you made the best decision!!! If you had accepted that pregnancy, the book today would have read, “Sarkodee is not my son/daughter’s father. The real father is Inyanya” or one of her many boyfriends.
Her mother played the victim to make an innocent man look bad even when she knew the real father of her daughter. This is exactly who these daughters of Eve are”.
