Ghanaian actor and comedian Agya Koo has defended his choice of paint and architecture for his new home, after some netizens mocked him online.
Agya Koo recently unveiled his mansion, which has a turquoise blue and off-white exterior. However, some people said he could have done better with the colour and the structure of the building.
Agya Koo said he was not bothered by the negative comments, as he explained that he bought the best quality paint and that he liked the blue and white colour combination.
“I bought my paint from Asokwa. One bucket is GH¢1,700. The colour is Nagara Blue. If you don’t like it, I like it. Sometimes I even wash it when it gets dirty,” he said in an interview with AngelFM.
He also denied that he chose the colours to show his affiliation with his political party (NPP), which has blue and white as its colours.
“It is not NPP colours. It is just a coincidence. Maybe I will add some red colour or put an elephant in front of my house to end these rumours,” he joked.
He added that he was not interested in responding to rumours on social media, as he felt that bloggers only twisted stories to make money from YouTube.
