Nana Ohene Ntow, a former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has endorsed Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, a former Trade Minister, as the most qualified candidate to lead the party in the 2024 elections.
Nana Ohene Ntow, who is also a Senior Advisor on strategy and operation for the Alan Kyerematen campaign, said Mr. Kyerematen has the vision and experience to solve Ghana’s challenges.
He said Mr. Kyerematen has a proven track record of understanding Ghana’s problems and proposing policy solutions that can transform the country.
“Alan is the person who knows what Ghana needs to move forward. He has demonstrated this by his achievements and initiatives. Among all the aspirants who want to be president of Ghana, I believe Alan is the most credible and competent. He is the one who can rescue Ghana from its current situation,” he said.
Mr. Kyerematen officially filed his nomination forms on Monday, June 12, at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down-Accra to contest in the NPP’s presidential primaries.
He is competing with other prominent figures in the party, such as Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Agric Minister Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, former NPP General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong, among others.
