Meet AT The new brand name of AirtelTigo Ghana

AT is the new brand name of Ghana’s most innovative telecom network, formerly known as AirtelTigo. The change took effect from today 22nd June 2023, as part of the company’s promise to simplify its services for its customers.

The company was formed in November 2017 by the merger of Airtel and Tigo, two leading telecom operators in Ghana. Since then, it has offered various services ranging from data to mobile money and voice services under the name AirtelTigo.

The new name, AT, will also apply to all its sub-brands; ATMoney, AT Business, AT Premier, and AT Insurance. The company’s social media and website domain names will also change accordingly.

The brand colours will remain unchanged.

Leo Skarlatos, Chief Executive Officer of AT, said “AT is a bold and strategic move that reflects our brand promise of simplicity and making it easier for our customers to identify and engage with us.

“Our stakeholders should note that this change only affects our brand name and logo, and will not impact our management structure, products, or services. We will continue to offer the same innovative services that our customers have come to know and trust, with an enhanced focus on user experience and customer satisfaction”, he added.

He assured customers of AT’s commitment to making life simple for them.

“We believe that this name change will only serve to strengthen our brand identity and represents our dedication to growth and simplicity. Mr. Skarlatos reiterated.
