As part of his decision to run for the flagbearer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has sought the blessings of the Majority Members in Parliament.

Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has sought the blessings of the Majority Members in Parliament as part of his decision to contest for the flagbearer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The Majority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh announced this and described the action of the Vice President as a respect for the NPP lawmakers.

Mr Annoh-Dompreh earlier said that Dr Bawumia was the man for the job.
