Black Stars call up Konigsdorffer for AFCON qualifier

Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has been added to the Black Stars squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Madagascar, according to the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The Hamburger SV winger will replace Inaki Williams, who pulled out of the squad due to a knee injury. Williams said he had been playing with pain in his right knee for weeks and needed to rest and recover before the preseason.

Williams also assured his fans that he was still committed to the national team and would be available for future call-ups if the coach considered him.
