Mark Kwesi Arthur, also known as DJ Azonto, is a Ghanaian musician who has confessed that he earns a lot of money by dressing like a woman at social events.
The Graphic Showbiz reported that the musician behind the hit song Fa Ne Fom said he is fully aware of the advantages and disadvantages of his crossdressing brand and that he is not worried about it.
He said he is mature enough to know right from wrong and hopes to become a fashion brand ambassador soon, based on his dressing style.
“I am an adult who has a wife and three children, I know the benefits and risks of what I am doing, I can tell what is good from bad, so there is no need to panic,” he said.
He also revealed how his family reacts to his crossdressing brand. He said they are not happy with his choice of clothes, but he cannot stop because it brings him income.
He narrated that on Mother’s Day, he visited his mother in his hometown and she asked him to stop wearing female clothes as a gift to her. She also asked him to stop using handbags and heels if he cannot stop completely.
“I told her that if she wants to enjoy life by being well taken care of, then I have to keep working, and this is part of it.
“I used to wear a bra, but I stopped. The truth is that my whole family, including my wife, is not pleased with the things I wear, but they want money, and this is how I make money,” DJ Azonto said.
