A mob of drug dealers killed a 30-year-old man, Kwadwo Afful, at Sehwi Ahibenso in the Western North Region’s Bodi District. They accused him of not paying back the money he owed them for the marijuana they gave him to sell.
The attackers left Kwadwo Afful’s dead body on the main road of Ahibenso on Thursday morning.
Daniel Kwasi Tawiah, the grandfather of the victim, told Onua FM’s Emmanuel Sowah that he went to check what was happening when he saw a crowd on the street.
He said he learned that his grandson had been murdered by some ghetto boys for failing to account for the marijuana they entrusted him with.
He reported the incident to the Bodi police, who took the body to the Juaboso Government Hospital for further investigation.
The killers are still at large.
Oliver Ackah, the brother of the victim, said the family will not rest until they see justice. He said the community knows who the murderers are.
