Ghanaian actor Samuel Yaw Dabo wants Real Madrid and Jorge Mendes to support his academy. The actor, who runs an academy in Ghana, has been visiting different European countries to expand his football network.
Dabo was at the Santiago Bernabeu to watch Real Madrid play Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg.
He became popular when he was interviewed by Marca TV, a Spanish television station, after the match.
He later went to the Marca TV office in Madrid, where he talked about his academy and his plans.
Dabo said he would like to work with Real Madrid and also asked for Jorge Mendes’ help.
“I have a team of workers, coaches and caterers for my academy. I came to Europe to look for a solution to help my academy,” he told Marca.

“I have teams from U14 to U18, and I need support and opportunities. Maybe I can partner with Real Madrid or other big teams.
“Or maybe I can start from lower divisions. I’m okay with that.
“Or maybe Jorge Mendes can help me. He is doing a lot for children, so maybe he can hear me and support my academy.”
Dabo also said he wanted to meet Cristiano Ronaldo and shake his hand. He said the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star is a big inspiration for every child from a poor background.
