Kojo Bonsu casts ballot in Subin, confident of winning NDC flagbearership. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is holding its parliamentary and presidential primaries today, Saturday, May 13, 2023.
One of the two presidential candidates, Kojo Bonsu, voted at the Jubilee Park in the Subin Constituency of the Ashanti Region around 9am.
He expressed optimism about his chances of becoming the NDC’s presidential candidate for the 2024 general elections.
He urged all party members to vote wisely and unite for the 2024 polls.
“Our main goal is 2024, so we should all come together, vote wisely and make sure that this party has the strength to fight in the 2024 elections very well. My chances are very positive,” he said.

He also commented on the withdrawal of Dr. Kwabena Duffuor from the presidential race, saying it was a family matter.
“We are one big family, what has happened is our family matter. The most important thing is ‘die wufie asem’,” he said.
Dr. Duffuor had earlier sued the NDC over some irregularities and lack of access to the party’s photo album.
He later dropped the suit and quit the race, leaving Kojo Bonsu and John Dramani Mahama as the only contenders.
