Mr. Drew, a popular Ghanaian singer, and dancer who rose to fame after winning the MTN Hitmaker reality show in 2016, has announced a change in his management. The star parted ways with his former manager, Mr Philip Nelson aka Jeezy, earlier this year due to creative differences and has now joined a new music label in Ghana.
He made this known in a recent interview on Ameyaw TV’s “One on One”, where he explained that he and his former manager mutually agreed to go their separate ways because he wanted to move on.
“We both felt that it was time to move on. They were working for me, so there was no problem. I just felt that I needed to grow and progress. So I told them that I wanted to go for it and not let anything stop me”, he said, adding that they parted on good terms. Mr. Drew did not reveal the name of his new management team but said that he would introduce them soon.
“I have new management now, but I haven’t made it public yet. We will do that when the time is right”, he told the host Zeinat.
