NDC will triumph in 2024 starting from Assin North – Mahama

NDC will triumph in 2024 starting from Assin North Mahama

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has declared that the opposition party will emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections.

He attributed the impending victory of the party to the poor economic performance of the government and urged the people to re-elect Mr. James Gyakye Quayson as their Member of Parliament to boost development.

He cautioned the people against falling for NPP’s promises and vote-buying schemes at a rally to mobilize votes for the party at Assin-Bereku.

“God has ordained our victory in 2024 and it begins from here. I firmly believe that God will make NDC win this by-election.

“God has given you the power to end the economic mismanagement and leadership crisis displayed by the government,” he stated.

Mr. Mahama said the NDC was not bothered by the malicious political propaganda against Mr. Quayson to reduce the NDC’s minority in parliament as he could not be imprisoned when Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM 1, the Chief Executive Officer of collapsed Menzgold, a gold dealership firm, was roaming freely.

Mr. Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communication Director, said the government’s dismal performance in agriculture was another example of a government that had failed to fulfil its campaign promise to the people.

He said the NPP pledged to modernize the sector to ensure that the living standards of farmers were greatly improved, adding that the situation was getting even worse.
