The NDC Asawase MP secured his seat in the parliamentary primaries with 1,063 votes. He received a congratulatory message from Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the NPP Whip, who called him his friend and brother.
Asawase MP Aljahi Muntaka Mubarak secured his seat for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the parliamentary primaries on Saturday.
He defeated his rival Masawudu Mubarick with 1,063 votes out of 1,797. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Majority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh congratulated him on Twitter.
He said he was his friend and brother and that there was no room for hate. He also praised Adaklu MP Kwame Agbodza for his victory.
