A fatal crash has occurred involving supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region’s Assin North Constituency.
The supporters had attended a campaign event with the party and its 2024 Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, at Dansame in the Constituency on Saturday, June 17.
Sadly, they met with an accident on their way back from the programme.
Many of them have suffered various injuries.
Former President Mahama had to pause his campaign to visit the injured.
“Heartfelt condolences to the family of our comrade who lost her life after joining others to the programme,” he posted on his official Facebook page.
“I will be leading the party to visit the family of the deceased to sympathize with them.”
