Real Madrid have announced the signing of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund on a six-year deal.
The club said in an official statement: “Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jude Bellingham, who will be tied to our club for the next six seasons.
“Tomorrow, Bellingham will be presented as a new Real Madrid player.”
The 19-year-old midfielder moved to Dortmund from his hometown club Birmingham in 2020.
He attracted interest from several top clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool from the Premier League, but Real secured his signature for an initial fee of £88.5million last week.
Bellingham was voted as the Bundesliga Player of the Season after helping Dortmund finish second in the league, just behind champions Bayern Munich.
He also scored his first goal for England in the World Cup victory over Iran, but he is currently sidelined with an injury and will miss the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
Last month, he expressed his ambition to play for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Bellingham said: “The aim has always been winning.
“That’s what I want to do in my career, win everything. And I’m not shy to say that.
“I think every professional footballer should have that goal.”
