Suame Magazine gets two projects from SMIDO and German Cooperation

Suame Magazine Industrial Development Organisation (SMIDO) has partnered with the German Cooperation to launch two initiatives that will boost the growth of the Suame Magazine Industrial area in Kumasi.

The area is home to many workshops that offer metal engineering and vehicle repairs services in Ghana and West Africa. The first initiative is the opening of an auto diagnostics training centre that will equip the workers with modern skills and techniques to improve their productivity and quality.

The second initiative is the formation of the first-ever female-led scrap dealer’s association in Ghana that will empower women to participate in the lucrative e-waste sector.
