Two students die in Teacher Mante crash

A fatal accident at Teacher Mante claimed the lives of two people believed to be students of Osino Presbyterian Senior High and Technical School in the Eastern Region on Friday, June 2.

The accident involved a Nissan minibus with registration number GG-2071-21 that was transporting the students from Osino to Accra after their midterms.

According to an eye witness, the driver was speeding when one of the tyres burst and he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.

Nearby residents rushed to help rescue the trapped students.

The two deceased have been taken to the Nsawam Hospital mortuary, while eleven others who sustained serious injuries are being treated at the Nsawam Government Hospital.
