The Ukrainian government has condemned Russia’s actions and called for international support. The United Nations has also expressed concern over the situation and urged both sides to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue to resolve their differences peacefully. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing since 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine.
