Manchester United secured their place in next season’s Champions League with a convincing 4-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The visitors took an early lead through Casemiro’s header and doubled it before the break with Anthony Martial’s tap-in from Jadon Sancho’s pass.
Bruno Fernandes added a third from the penalty spot after the interval and Marcus Rashford scored his 30th goal of the season from close range. Joao Felix scored a late consolation for the hosts, who are 12th in the Premier League and have had a disappointing campaign.
United, who only needed a draw to guarantee a top-four finish, are third in the table and level on points with second-placed Arsenal, who lost to Nottingham Forest. Manchester City have already clinched the title with a game to spare.
