The N8 highway that links Ahwian Nkwanta in Ashanti Region and Yamoransa in Central Region has a new 31.2-kilometer section from Assin Fosu to Assin Praso, which was inaugurated by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Bawumia said that this road project, which was funded by a 58 million US dollar grant from Japan, demonstrates President Akufo-Addo’s dedication to enhancing road infrastructure nationwide.
He also stated that the government is working to secure more funds to complete the remaining 67 kilometers of road from Assin Fosu to Yamoransa.
